Josie Smith

Josie Smith’s Tamboura is a book about the music of life. It is the story of transformation, of the search for meaning in our modern world. Essentially it is one woman’s answers to the age-old existential questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose of my life? It is also a celebration of the magical way music nourishes the soul. And it is the story of Joanna and Eddie, and how the tamboura became a catalyst for change and spiritual awakening in their lives.

Josie was born in London, now lives in West Wales and holds a Master’s degree in Creative and Scriptwriting from the University of Wales St David’s. She has written a memoir, two novels, a film script, two plays, some short stories and many poems. She has also rendered several scriptural stories for an international spiritual website. Her work has been featured in poetry collections and on the BBC.
